| Student Poster Award |
This award stems from the Poster Session at the annual Conference of Metallurgists. Winners are chosen by a
panel of judges established by the Poster Session Chair. Prizes are awarded in two categories, Undergraduate
and Graduate students. If the Poster Session is held before the Awards Banquet, then poster session winners will
receive their awards at the Awards Banquet.

| Editors Gifts |
A copy of the edited volume is presented to each editor of a Conference of Metallurgists
at the annual Conference of Metallurgists. The Technical Program Chair usually
presents the gifts.

Chain of Office |
The President of the Society decides on the subjects for the medallions to be created by the artist. The Chain is
usually presented to the incoming President at the Business Meeting during the Conference of Metallurgists.

President's Plaque |
A framed plaque is presented to the outgoing MetSoc President by the Immediate Past-President. This presentation
is usually the first “award” presented at the Awards Banquet of the Conference of Metallurgists.
