Industrial Tour 2 is a one-day tour being held Thursday, August 28, 2008 departing from the Delta Hotel 08:30 returning to the hotel at 17:00.

The largest aerospace composite manufacturer in Canada designs, Boeing develops and fabricates complex glass and graphite fiber composite structures and sub-assemblies for Boeing 737, Boeing 747, Boeing 767, and Boeing 777 aircraft. They specialize in Wing to Body Fairings, Engine Strut Fairings, Thrust Reverser Blocker Doors as well as additional complex composites including Nacelle Chines and Ducts. Boeing Winnipeg is a I Tier partner to the 787 Dreamliner program. They are responsible for the Wing to Body Fairing, Main Landing Gear Doors and the Vertical Fin Fairing for the life cycle of the program. Boeing Winnipeg will also supply Engine Strut Forward and Aft Pylons for the 787 as a Tier II Partner.

Standard Aero, a leading aerospace company, is one of the world’s largest independent providers of gas turbine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO). Standard Aero services General Electric, Rolls-Royce, Honeywell, and Pratt & Whitney Canada engines used by regional airline, business aviation, helicopter, and military operators.
