AUTHORS AND PRESENTERS

PRESENTATIONS


Below are the required documentation and details necessary to prepare presentations:


• View Presenter’s Guidelines. Please read the presenter's guidelines carefully which include details about the Presenter's Breakfast. It is CRITICAL that all presenters attend the presenter’s breakfast on the day of their presentation.
  
  
• View Powerpoint Presentation Guidelines.
  
  Presenters are expected to supply a Short Biography either through the online system or at the presenter's breakfast. If you have not already supplied your biography during the abstract submission process, please bring a copy of your biography to the presenter's breakfast the day of your presentation.
  
  
• ALL PRESENTATIONS must be uploaded to the website prior to arriving at COM 2009. Uploading Presentations (ppt) Online is now open. To upload your presentation, click here. Should you not be able to upload your presentation prior to arrival, please present a copy of your presentation at the Presentation Previewing Room (Room FA352 – Laurentian University as of Monday, August 24 07:00).
  
  
  IMPORTANT DATES
  
  
• FEBRUARY 1 TO 20, 2009: Authors will receive notification of acceptance or regret.
  
  
• MARCH 31, 2009: Deadline for submitting camera-ready papers for final editing. All papers will be reviewed and edited by a technical committee prior to their final publication.
  
  
• MAY 1 to JUNE 15, 2009: Authors must make updates to Abstracts, Paper titles and Author(s) names for final publication.
  
  
• MAY 15, 2009 (revised date): Authors receive preliminary details regarding presentation details.
  
  
• AUTHOR REGISTRATION DEADLINE JUNE 1, 2009: At least one author/presenter per paper must be registered. Presenters will be required to pay their registration fees in full by June 1, 2009 (see your registration category for exact prices). Failure to register by June 1, 2009 will result in removal from the proceedings and the technical program. Presenters with multiple submissions need only register once.
  
  
• JULY 29, 2009 (revised date): Authors can upload presentations online. To upload your presentation, click here.
  
  
MANUSCRIPTS


• Author’s Guidelines for the Preparation of Camera-Ready Manuscripts and the Publications Rights Form, view.
  
  The below-listed symposia will NOT be publishing proceedings:
  
  • MANAGEMENT-Current Management and Human Resource Issues. Author's presenting at the Management in Metallurgy Symposium are expected to submit their power point presentations by July 1, 2009. You will be contacted by your Chairman during the month of June with more details.
  
  • POSTER SESSION. Deadline to submit a poster July 1, 2009.
