SHORT COURSES

The conference will be preceded by five excellent short courses planned by experts in their fields highlighting lecturers with many years of experience and key knowledge.

All courses will take place on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23 prior to the 48th Conference of Metallurgists (COM 2009). You are not required to be a conference delegate to attend the short courses. Four of the five courses will be held at the Laurentian University. The Geometallurgy and Mineralogy course will take place at Xstrata.
