This symposium will focus on environment-related subjects that are specifically connected to mining, mineral processing and metallurgical operations. A major objective of the symposium will be to recognize the significant contributions that biologists have made to remediation efforts.

The Proceedings of the Green Technologies Symposium will be published in book form and will be available for sale at the meeting for $75. Both the symposium and its proceedings will be in English. All papers will be refereed and edited prior to final acceptance and publication.
