Process Control Applications in Mining and Metallurgical Plants
Chair(s): Helen Shang - Laurentian University, Canada
Sharon Kennedy - Barrick Gold Corporation, Canada
Lionel Ryan - Barrick Gold Corporation, Canada
This symposium focuses on how techniques such as Process Control, Simulation, or Modeling can be used to design, operate and optimize mining and metallurgical plants. Process control techniques are increasingly becoming an integral part of our industry, and the benefits are evident: increased productivity, increased efficiency and lower operating costs. Come learn about the latest advances in this area.
The Proceedings of the Process Control Symposium will be published in book form and will be available for sale at the meeting for $75.
Both the symposium and its proceedings will be in English. All papers will be refereed and edited prior to final acceptance and publication.
