Payments
All Conference registrations (except for authors/presenters) and payments
must be received by August 1, 2009 – otherwise, they will be processed on-site
at Laurentian University during the conference. Keep in mind all events are
subject to availability, therefore it is highly recommended that delegates
register and submit payment prior to the August 1st 2009 deadline, in order to
avoid disappointment.
Cancellation policy
Written notice of cancellation must
be sent to the conference registration office postmarked no later than August
1st, 2009. A $100 processing fee will be charged for all cancellation requests.
No refunds will be issued as of August 1st, 2009. Goods and Services Tax (GST) –
The Canadian Goods and Services Tax (GST) is applicable to all goods and
services purchased while in Canada.
VISA Inquiries
For international travelers, we recommend that you inquire about VISA information at the Government of Canada website:
www.cic.gc.ca. Those requiring a VISA should make the request as soon as they can.
Upon specific request, MetSoc will send a letter of Confirmation to the authors of papers, presenters of posters and to persons, who wish to attend COM 2009. Prerequisite for it is the prior payment of the Conference registration fee. We do not send letters to embassies or consulates.

Authors/Presenters
At least one author/presenter per paper must be registered. Presenters will be required to pay their registration fees in full by June 1, 2009
(see your registration category for exact prices). Failure to register by June 1, 2009 will result in removal from the proceedings and the technical program. Presenters with multiple
submissions need only register once. Poster Presenters Registration deadline: July 1, 2009.
