The first international symposium in Canada on Aerospace Materials was held in Montréal, August 2002. The second
international symposium will honor Dr. W. Wallace, FASM, retired Director General of the Institute of Aerospace Research
(IAR) at the National Research Council Canada. Related topics include:
- Superalloys and high temperature materials such as intermetallics
- High temperature metallic, ceramic and nano-materials coatings
- Advanced manufacturing sciences related to welding and joining methods (e-beam and laser welding, FSW, LFW, diffusion brazing, TLP bonding)
