What's New?

  • CIM Magazine- looking for students articles
Have an interesting work project? Want to talk about your school or your experience as a student in Metallurgy? The CIM Magazine features in each issue "Student Life" an article submitted by a student. With over 10,000 readers in the industry, wouldn't this be a great opportunity for you? Contact magazine@cim.org

  • Universities and Chapters - Organize a Seminar with a CIM Distinguished Lecturer.  Last MLINK issue, we reminded our Student Chapters that they can obtain a great speaker by requesting a CIM Distinguished Lecturer. Did you know that this year one of the Distinguished lecturer is a former MetSoc President and the 2007 recipient of the Airey Award? You can read a short biography of him on our Awards page.
Carlos Diaz is not alone, there are four other great Lecturers that you can secure for your School event. The Lecturers are available to visit Student Chapters starting in September and it is recommended that you make your request as early as possible as they are in high demand. For more info, contact Robertina Pillo: programs@cim.org, Tel.: (514) 939-2710, ext. 1316 or make your request online at http://www.cim.org/awards/distinguishedLecturers.cfm
