Continuous Casting

At the No. 1 two-strand Continuous Slab Caster the molten steel is poured into the casting machine which produces up to 2.65 million tons of solid steel slabs each year.

The No. 2 Slab Caster linked with the Electric Arc Furnace produces up to 1.35 million tons of steel slabs each year which are rolled at our Hot Strip Mill.

• Thickness 216mm, Width 740-1600mm
• Low, medium, and high carbon AK, SK structural grades, Low carbon HSLA
