MetSoc Board of Directors
The MetSoc Board of Directors is composed of members of The Metallurgy and Materials Society (MetSoc). MetSoc is one of the ten societies making up the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. In October of 2010, the Society adopted their new name The Metallurgy and Materials Society. Executive Board
The executive Board consists of the Immediate Past President, President, Vice-Presidents, Treasurer and Secretary.
Seven technical sections
The Sections represent the technical diversity of the metals, minerals and materials community
Four standing committees
These committees are dedicated to the various member services of the Society such as Students, Publications, Membership services, Historical Metallurgy, etc.
Job descriptions for each member of section/committee and MetSoc Executives are given in the Guidance Manual (available in English only). This guidance manual is located on Basecamp3 and is accessible only to BOD members.
